With over 25-years in the event space TK Teepees can curate any type of event from a sleepover party to corporate events, expos, concerts and much more.

TK Teepees was born out of a passion for creating exciting birthday parties for our girls. As a mother I know how special parties are and what cherished memories they make. Seeing the joy on not only the faces of my own children but also their friends as they share their special day is everything. We’ve had many different themed parties that seemed to spill over from a lunch party into evening party, into a sleepover party; it was like having a couple of parties on the one day! As an event planner I love it and so did our girls! But there is too much of a good thing, so they evolved into an all-in-one glamping sleepover party.

Organising a party can be daunting, time-consuming and costly. From personal experience hosting my kids’ parties there’s been a lot to organise, i’ve blown the budget as its become unexpectedly larger and required a lot more than originally planned. The challenge is what I thrive on and at the end reward is seeing it all come together. Family and friends would always say "you should do this as a business".

In 2019 TK Teepees was launched offering Cairns families boutique, styled, pop-up teepees parties that did not break the budget. Demand grew for a unique teen style sleepover party so in came the Bell Tents that are now used for not just kids & teens parties but hen’s nights to corporate events. Our portfolio also included kids and teens picnic parties and pamper parties, but have set up all sorts of events based on our clients requests. Our aim is to giving you the time back to be a part of the party rather than running around for the party, giving you the time to take in all the special moments and fun experiences as they happen.

We bring to your event a 25-year career and professional background in marketing, sales and event management organising and delivering many different styles of events and parties. TK Teepees focuses on curating boutique event and party solutions. Event management is what we do, communication is key and we understand the importance of working with each client to make their event uniquely unforgettable to forging memories that last long after the last guest leaves.

The inception of TK Teepees stemmed from a passion for crafting memorable birthday celebrations for our daughters. As a mother, I deeply understand the significance of these events in creating cherished memories. Witnessing the joy on the faces of not only our children but also their friends as they celebrate their special days is incredibly heart-warming.

Initially inspired by themed parties that seamlessly transitioned from lunch to evening affairs, our offerings evolved into comprehensive glamping sleepover experiences. Organising such events can often be overwhelming, time-consuming, and costly—I've experienced firsthand the challenges of planning my children's parties. However, overcoming these challenges and seeing everything come together is immensely gratifying.

In 2019, TK Teepees officially launched in Cairns, offering local families boutique, styled parties that are both affordable and unique. Responding to growing demand, we introduced Bell Tents, perfect for all occasions ranging from sleepover parties to hen’s nights and corporate gatherings. Our repertoire further expanded to include picnic parties for for all age but with a focus on children and teens, and pamper parties, while also accommodating custom event requests from our clients.

Our mission is to give you the freedom to fully participate in the festivities rather than managing every detail. With a background in marketing, sales, and event management spanning over two decades, we bring a wealth of expertise to every event.
